Offline files and Sync
Ok I have WS that for some reason lets me have control of the enable offline files tick box. Yesterday I dleteed all the offline files and unselected that tick box. Last night I re-booted the server (just in case) This morning I restarted that one WS and the enable offline files was still unticked.

unintentionally enabled offline files but I'm not sure how. I create users and in each profile have the drive 'U:' map to their home folder. In the OU for these users, I enable Redirection of My Documents to their home folder (basic redirection). Now when I login as a user, it's set for synchronization.
